Life holds moments that defy easy explanation–losses we didn’t expect, joy we can’t quite name, seasons of uncertainty, and glimmers of renewal. We gather to explore the full emotional spectrum of the human experience; grief and joy, despair and hope–not as opposites, but as textures and fragments that shape our personal masterpiece. Using the accessible, playful, and profound art of collage, we’ll explore what words often can’t express. By cutting, layering and arranging images, you’ll give shape to your inner world. No art experience is needed; just a willingness to listen inward and engage with images, words, and one another in a spirit of openness. Come make meaning from the materials of your life. Leave with a renewed sense of insight, a small portfolio of personal collages, and the warmth of shared human experience. Perhaps collaging will become your personal spiritual practice! All supplies including images will be provided. If you have a beloved pair of scissors, feel free to bring with you.
