Relax, beach and summer with a woman outdoor and the horizon, sea or ocean in the background during summer. Freedom, love and nature with a young female on holiday or vacation and hugging herself

This immersive retreat is a guided reset designed to help you transform the way you relate to yourself—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Through a powerful three-part journey into self-talk, self-care, and self-love, you’ll uncover how your inner dialogue was shaped, learn evidence-based tools to interrupt unhelpful thought patterns, and build sustainable daily practices that support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. Grounded in psychological research and experiential practices, this experience goes far beyond surface-level wellness, offering practical tools, deep reflection, and embodied integration. If you’re tired of running on empty, struggling with self-criticism, or knowing something needs to change but not knowing how, this retreat offers the clarity, compassion, and structure to create a lasting shift in how you care for yourself and move through your life.

Retreat Schedule

  • Section One: Self-Talk invites you to slow down and notice the stories running through your mind. You’ll learn to see your inner dialogue clearly and understand that it’s learned, not fixed. This section explores how your habitual thoughts shape your self-image, your relationships, and the way you experience the world, while giving you practical tools to interrupt unhelpful patterns and speak to yourself with clarity and kindness.
  • Section Two: Self-Care is about giving yourself permission to pause, reset, and nurture your body and mind. You’ll discover what self-care truly means—and why it’s essential for emotional, mental, and physical resilience. Through reflection and guided practice, you’ll create simple, sustainable habits across physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual areas, learning how to honor your needs without guilt and maintain balance in daily life.
  • Section Three: Self-Love guides you toward a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself. You’ll explore what it really means to love yourself through imperfection, how self-compassion differs from self-esteem, and how it supports healthier decisions, stronger relationships, and overall well-being. With reflective exercises and integration practices, this section helps you embody self-love in a lasting, practical way—so you can carry this care and kindness with you long after the retreat ends.

Who is this for?

This retreat is for you if you’re on a healing journey and want practical, research-informed tools to change how you speak to yourself, care for yourself, and stay connected to yourself—especially during moments of stress, self-doubt, or burnout.

What is the focus?

The focus of this retreat is helping participants transform their relationship with themselves by becoming aware of their inner dialogue, learning how to care for their nervous system and daily needs, and cultivating self-compassion as a sustainable, embodied practice. Through education, reflection, and experiential tools, the retreat centers on self-talk, self-care, and self-love as interconnected foundations for long-term emotional well-being.

Are there any practices or resources participants should be familiar with?

No specific practices are required in advance, though participants should be open to exploring somatic awareness, journaling, group reflection, and gentle movement. All practices will be guided and accessible, with invitations to adapt or rest as needed.

Are you drawing from any specific traditions?

This retreat draws from trauma-informed somatic work, mindfulness, nature-based reflection, and seasonal wellness practices inspired by both ancient wisdom and modern mental health frameworks. While not affiliated with a specific spiritual path, it honors the rhythms of nature and the innate intelligence of the body and heart.

Is previous experience necessary?

No prior experience is required. Whether you are new to retreats or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome. The retreat is designed to meet you where you are.

How will this retreat balance social interaction and solitude?

Our time together will be spaciously paced, offering a balance of shared practice and private integration. Group gatherings will offer connection and supportive community, while ample personal time will allow for solitude, rest, and reflection.

How will this retreat interact with the GilChrist facility?

GilChrist offers a deeply supportive, contemplative environment — each participant is welcome to utilize a cabin, providing a sanctuary for solitude, stillness, and integration. The surrounding trails, meditation spaces, and natural beauty are integral to the experience, inviting a deepening of your connection to the land and to your own inner rhythms.

About the Facilitator: Jazmin Guy

As a licensed mental health therapist with expertise in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrative healing practices, my approach is centered on supporting individuals in achieving mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I blend evidence-based therapeutic techniques with holistic modalities to help you create lasting change, heal from past experiences, and cultivate a greater sense of inner balance.

With a background in over 6 years of practice, I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and develop practical solutions for overcoming life’s challenges. In addition, I incorporate holistic methods such as mindfulness, energy healing, meditation, and aromatherapy to address the root causes of emotional distress and promote deep healing on all levels—body, mind, and spirit.

I believe that true healing requires a holistic approach that honors the connection between the mind, emotions, and body. By combining the best of modern psychology with ancient healing traditions, I empower clients to find clarity, improve self-awareness, and develop a deeper connection to their inner wisdom.

Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, heal from trauma, manage difficult emotions, or simply feel more balance, I offer personalized therapy and coaching sessions designed to support your journey to optimal well-being.
